At the historic Rowley Mile, Newmarket Racecourses, jockeys push the limits of their skill and their horses’ potential in pursuit of unprecedented glory. Here, the sheer beauty and elegance of the thoroughbred is on full display, as these animals compete in the autumn sun. The first race meeting takes place on 23 September, Cesarewitch Trial Day which coincides with the Henry Cecil Open Weekend.

The Henry Cecil Open Weekend is a celebrated event that brings together the town’s community, from entry-level enthusiasts to racing experts, to celebrate this fascinating and captivating sport’s legacy. Visitors can observe the horses during morning routines, enjoy a fascinating tour of a training yard, and even visit the National Horse Racing Museum to learn more about this sport’s rich history.

As October commences, the focus turns to the world’s most valuable thoroughbreds showcased in an extraordinary display of excellence on both the racecourse and the sales ring. The Tattersalls October Yearling Sale takes place in October along with the Dubai Future Champions Festival, which features the Group 1 Darley Dewhurst Stakes.

Autumn in Newmarket is one of the most anticipated events of the year, and it offers a myriad of exciting opportunities and experiences for everyone who loves racing and thoroughbreds.
