GODOLPHIN’S MOULTON PADDOCKS TO OPEN FOR THE 32RED NEWMARKET OPEN WEEKEND

The 32Red Newmarket Open Weekend is thrilled to announce that Godolphin’s Moulton Paddocks will open to the public on Sunday 17 September 2017.  Moulton Paddocks is the UK base of Godolphin trainer, Charlie Appleby, and home to number of the global operation’s equine superstars.

All NOW wristband holders will be given the rare opportunity to be guided through the yard and its state of the art facilities, which includes private gallops, a swimming pool and an equine spa.

Charlie has had an incredibly successful season to date this year, including four wins at the July Meeting in Newmarket.  Hawkbill proved once again his consistency at the highest level when landing the Group 2 Princess of Wales’s Stakes, beating stable mate and impressive Group 1 performer Frontiersman.  Other horses in the yard that visitors will be able to enjoy seeing is Blue Point, third in this year’s Coronation Cup, and Royal Ascot winners, Rare Rhythm and Sound and Silence.

The Open Weekend not only provides the public with a front row view into the world of racing but also a full weekend of entertainment, all while raising money for three excellent charities; the Racing Welfare Newmarket Housing Project (80%), the Newmarket Day Centre (10%), and the Newmarket Academy (10%).
